As Artistic Director, Concept Developer, and Co-Founder of the Iranian Music Festival, my vision is to establish a long-term platform for showcasing the breadth and depth of Iranian music. The festival brings together traditional, contemporary, and experimental approaches, featuring artists from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds.

More than a cultural celebration, this festival is committed to promoting intercultural exchange and artistic innovation. Its core purpose is to expand and diversify the Australian music landscape by introducing new voices, hybrid forms, and underrepresented traditions. Through dialogue between artists and audiences, we aim to foster a richer understanding of Iranian music in all its complexity—and contribute meaningfully to Australia’s evolving cultural ecology.
